Killer Instinct at PAX Prime – Day 2

Well here we are. Halfway home. The 2nd day of PAX Prime 2015 has come and gone, and now we get to share the goings on with you.

Much like yesterday, I spent the entire day bodying those who braved the line to win themselves a Riptor pin. During most of the day, I found myself oddly conflicted. On one hand, these are folks we want to see become a part of our wonderful Killer Instinct family, but on the other hand there can be no mercy, so the beatdowns were delivered in a ferocious fashion.

All in all, folks loved what they saw, and the abundance of Ultra combos left smiles on many faces.

Our fearless resident pro-player, HK Smash, found himself as the center of attention once again, streaming on the Astro Gaming Twitch channel taking on whoever dared challenge him. One of those folks was none other than Mr. Alex Jebailey.

Much to my chagrin, I wasn’t able to provide Alex with a fight stick with which to face HK Smash, and he found himself taking on insurmountable odds on the live stream. I do have to say, though, that Alex managed to sneak in a win using a controller, and that was his drop the mic moment.

Some how, some way, I was then dragged on to the live stream to do battle with HK, and let’s just say things didn’t go as well for me as they did for Alex. That’s all I have to say about that.

Day 2 was definitely just as exciting as day 1, and we can’t wait to keep the weekend rolling, giving out Riptor pins. Last but not least, we’ll not only have HK Smash battling on the Astro Gaming Twitch channel tomorrow from 2-3pm PDT, but he, myself, and Alex Jebailey will sit down to talk KI and its Community tomorrow from 5-6pm PDT. Make sure to tune in.
